Ian's Story
The call came in the middle of the night, Ian was dead but no-one could tell them how or why.
It didn't take long for the family to find out that the RCMP had no witnesses, no video surveillance to back up their account and nothing other than one officers word to base their investigation on.
To add insult to injury, before arriving at the families house, the RCMP had already issued a press release which portrayed their son as a known criminal (which he was not) and the officer as a victim.
However, anyone who knew Ian, knew this story seemed not only impossible, something was drastically wrong.
But how do you take on the RCMP when it is the RCMP investigating. How do you find out the truth and the real facts when there is no evidence and you don't have a trustworthy representative for you and your family?
