Attention BC Residents

It is very important that the Government of British Columbia hears from us as well. The BC Government is currently working on a new system of police investigation for our province. We believe that it is of utmost importance that this new system be modeled after a completely civilian force, as it is in Ontario, rather than a civilian-led based force, as in Alberta.

In a civilian-led system the investigation would still be done by working police officers brought in from different forces. We are convinced that police should not investigate police and do not want to see half measures on this issue. So that our government hears from us, the citizens of BC, please consider writing to Solicitor General Kash Heed and Priemier Gordon Campbell.

A sample letter is attached. Please use it as is, or add your personal ideas, experiences, etc., or use it as a guide to write your own letter.
